Hey!

Here's a short breakdown as promised. If you have any questions, just let me know!
I recommend opening the images in a new tab for clarity. :)

Updated LiSMA

Hey everyone,

I've created a new portfolio piece featuring the bust in my demo reel.  If you recall I created a body for her a few months ago (scroll down), and now I've created a bit of context for her.  I will also add her to my demo reel in the coming weeks - just gotta set up those renders. :)

I plan on posting a break down of my Photoshop file tomorrow, but I just wanted to get this out there today because I'm rather happy with the result.

Random Stuff!

Just some random drawings I've done recently!

These are some cards I did for something I am/was working on with Jack Shirai. (@Roshirai)

I was just doing some sketches today and I decided to colour one of 'em in! It's a Zelda fanart.  I've always loved Zelda and like to think of her as a rather powerful character even though we don't get much characterization of her through the games (*cough* damsel in distress).

Here are the sketches on her page - just for fun. ;)

Annnnd one last thing. A render of something I started a suuuuper long time ago an
d I don't think I've really uploaded an image of it anywhere, so why not do it now!

Some Birds and a Robot!

I've been mostly thinking about working on my pixel art skills since it's such a cool medium and seems to be very handy!  Pixel art is a lot more complicated than you might think! I'm just starting to understand that now.  I can' imagine how people animate pixel art so well!

These guys aren't pixel, but I think they're cute all the same. :)

This is a banner I did for my company for when they went to PAX East!
The blog post describing the experience can be found on Skunkwerks' Devblog.

Hey everyone!

I spent the past couple days at work making a banner for Skunkwerks Software!

Skunkwerks Kinetic's Website
YouTube Channel

I am very proud of how this turned out. The models for the vehicles, the turret, and the pillar in the background were done by Garret Randell.
The rest of  the models and such were done myself in Maya and Photoshop.  It appears that the aspect ratio for the banner is actually more standard than what I made so in the next few days I'll be adding more to the top of this image.

I spent the past weekend at UBC participating in the Vancouver portion of Global Game Jam! Apparently our site was the largest in the world with around 360 jammers! Crazy.  I jammed with a coworker for the weekend and we created a cool little game we lovingly titled "sklerp."

The idea is to get dots into their goal dot! You get them to stick by pressing the letter on the keyboard associated with the letter on the dot. Pretty simple!  All the sounds in the game were done by voice.

You can play the game by downloading it from the official jam website:
